Mission
Empowering communities — mainly women and girls — for their sustainability and improved quality of living.
Held at Heart Uganda (HAH-UG) was established as a Registered Community Based Organisation in 2020. Today it serves as a legally registered Non-Government Organization, primarily working in Wakiso, Kampala and Mukono Districts of central Uganda.
These three statements guide every decision — from which villages we visit to which projects we approve.
Empowering communities — mainly women and girls — for their sustainability and improved quality of living.
Alleviate poverty and enhance self-reliance.
Improve the general health of the underserved groups in communities, restoring their hope and dignity.
Held at Heart Uganda began at the Kitetika-Mbazzi grounds with a simple mission: to ensure no community is left behind in the journey of progress. We believe that true change starts at home, powered by the hands of those who live there.
We specialize in reaching the last mile — delivering high-quality medical care directly to those who need it most through strategic medical camps and community outreaches.
Our growth has been steady and intentional. Five focused programs. Three districts. Hundreds of mothers, children and young people whose stories now bend toward hope.
Our footprint stays focused so our impact stays deep.
Mobile health camps, mental wellness, SRHR outreach and skilling for single mothers.
OVC identification and education support across slum and informal settlements.
Community health awareness and partnership-led outreach activities.
Every initiative grows from a genuine understanding of local needs.
We build sustainable, locally-owned solutions rather than one-off aid.
Transparent reporting on every shilling, outreach and outcome.
Programs designed so that communities own their progress long-term.
